how in gods name do you undo the fooker????

 

i hammered out that peened over bit, iv soaked it in release spray iv made a notch and hammered the fooker along with my thumb

 

im now about to chisel through the fooker

 

am i missing something here?

have you taken the split pin out?

 

is this front or rear

if your on about the front with the hammered in bit good luck i snapped a 3ft knuckle bar trying to undo one of them ok it had a 6ft scaffolding bar on it. But i ended up changing the hubs and drive shaft's to change the wheel bearing on the poxy thing i'll sell the car before i try that again

looks like il chisel the fooker off then and fit a new one

good luck make sure you get the nut first incase you can't get them any more because that would be sod's law

i took mine round the local hgv workshop. bloke there cracked em off using a 3/4" socket and a fooking great breaker bar cost me a couple of pints. saved on mangled knuckles and lots of swearing tho :thumbsup
