Forget the modern Le Mans....

This is the real deal.

I've just got back and it was the tits. Not got any pics coz I was too busy - look them up on line!

I saw at least half a dozen RS2600. 20 Mustangs. Countless GT40s and 1 Anglia. (Not all racing)

Probably the best event I've ever been to.

Next one is 2010.

They were the only 3 capris racing, but there were loads parked up.

I saw a mk3 1.6S - news to me.

There was a Howmet racing too. It sounded awesome as it was turbine powered!!

I Was mainly working on an Allard J2. Pig ugly but over 400bhp Caddy V8 so was fun to play with. Had to have gearbox out, rebuild back axle, remove the body to fit ducting for cooling and weld the impellor back on the water pump all in between sessions!! It finished every one bar the first practice too

a bloke came into work today and was asking about kooltina, turns out he'd just got back and was racing his 260z!! showed me some great pics so, we've got 2 yrs to sort this.......how about the longest list on osf?
