account confirmation

a friend of mine signed up to the site today under the username of petchy and hasnt had the email through to confirm his account yet. Does it normally take a while (been so long since I joined up ) or is it just a glitch with his account.

Depending on the users e-mail server, sometimes they don't get sent at all the software that the site is built around sometimes has a blonde moment and forgets to do stuff.

 

If he isn't already, I can make him active manually

I did it when I posted

 

BUT I just checked the new user list and that username isn't there

 

It may have been deleted in one of our clean ups , so the best thing to do is get your mate to sign up again and I'll activate the account straight away
