sounds fun but, how do you know when someone is hit, because theres no visible markings on them like in paintball.

pretty sure you can get paitballs the size of BB's

I live on a farm and we used to do it with about 10 of us, allthough we didnt take it as serious as they do, just joggers and a t-shirt, and then fooking powerful gas bb guns with heavey weight bb's, fooking hurt and will make you bleed.

ahhh yeah forgot about the paintball bb's, but i think they only work with the crappy cheap guns you get from joke shops. the proper bb guns are too powerful and blow them up in the barrel

I used to go on a non competative basis with a few mates near me. Its fun as hell and doesnt hurt nearly as much as paintball does (depending on the guns used) give it a go, its cheaper than paintball in the long run as well

talking to someone that does it a decent automatic gun will set you back about £200,,,,,,thats without all the cammo gear and so on to look the part too

And lets be honest, to do it in the most manly fashion, you HAVE to have all the camo gear. Even if your only ever going to do it once.

I've done it lots of times and some of my friends are really into it. Although not cheap it is much more affordable than paintball. You can get yourself a medium machine gun (minimi) or top notch automatic rifle for £250. Or rent one for £30 for the day.

They fire about 15 bb's per second at close to 100metres per second so at close/medium ranges you know when you've been hit. At close range they will break skin. They have refs all over the battle field, if you get hit and ignore it you get a warning. If you do it again you get banned from that site for a year.

2000 BB's cost £7, get a few mates along and I guarantee you'll have a good day. I don't take it too seriously but some people do and you see some surreal sights. German stormtroopers fighting or guys in full delta force kit (body armour and everything).

Generally a good atmosphere and a good day.

I can recommend these two companies and yes you can use flash bangs and military spec smoke grenades. There are some laws that have come into play when buying guns but you can read about them from the websites:

and wolf armouries, quite a eye opener if you walk into the back room in their london shop (see pic on website)
