really want a mk1 escort so im selling my capris

i have a mk3 2.8i special that ive put a cosworth yb in. everything is in and plumbed up wired in and it does start up but there is a problem with the fueling. it will only start if i turn the tps slightly but then it just chucks fuely smoke out of the back. if i turn the tps back it wont start unless i take off the idle sensor plug off. this will start and run perfect for a minute or until you rev it. been told its somthing simple but have checked all my wiring and all the plugs and it makes no difference. ive run out of money now and need a mk1 escort. im useless with engines and this is just doing my head in now, someone who knows what they are doing will probably have it on the road in a weekend.

the problem is how much is it worth???

i have a feeling its worth more in bits but really dont want to break it as it seems so close to being on the road. i will be putting it on ebay at the weekend if i cant get it sorted before then, if i an ill mot it again first and put it on.
