SAF_Capri Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 Is it posible to fit a brake servo and arm from an RS2000 into a mk3 capri?? I ask as not having much joy in learning/understanding another way to move my break servo further foward into my engine bay. any ideas?
vibrating_Cake Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 i was gonna try that. but the m/c seems to be mounted lower on the mk2's and the extender leans upwards towards the front, which on the capper looks like it would come out the top of the bonnet. and ... it wouldnt get u much more room!!! also... my pedal box is coming tomorrow!!! YAY!!! the other solution
SAF_Capri Posted August 7, 2008 Author Report Posted August 7, 2008 Hope the photos come thinck and fast? if it works, im ordering one
vibrating_Cake Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 modified pedal box came. 1. acc pedal modified with a kink in it, not sure if its longer or shorter, but didnt have that kink in it when i sent it off secondly got two resevoir pots for the brake fluid (front n rear) and finally. the pedal box. if you havent seen a std capri pedal box you wont know the difference, but its really very different to the std one. two master cylinders and a balance bar between the two. swanky all painted black (think they powdercoated it too) =)
richyc Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 dont bother with a servo now ,it should be good without
SAF_Capri Posted August 10, 2008 Author Report Posted August 10, 2008 good luck fitting ,looks complicated..cant wait to do mine......
