this is my great grandad with his 1.1 71 escort he owned it when it was 12 months old before that it was a demo car for peterborough ford (now T.C Harrison Ford who i work for) he owned it upto 2001 and it was sold cos he was to old to lok after it and my uncle was ill with a bad heart (he looked after it all its life cos he was a mechanic)

never thught i'd see it again then on my b'day 05 it tured up in our bodyshop in an unloved condition and was destined to become another boy racers wet dream[/img]

then after lots of nagging and buying a replacment mk1 he let me have it back and resprayed it for me for free back to original colour

very slim lots of tears when it was reunited with my dad, uncle and grandma. ive got he stripped down again (i'm just pickky i guess) and my (after triple heart bypass) has done full engine rebuild.

and we've got an original 1300e 44k on the clock, 100e pop, mk3 capri, mk2 escort 4door, mk2 trannie with 3.0 essex,mk1 fessie(zetec planned for that) and hopefully picking up a pair of tina 1600e's
