"Classic Ford cars are being stolen to order from Sutton, a collectors car club fears.

 

In the past week, two beautifully restored Fords - one MkII Ford Escort, and a rare Ford Escort Mexico have been stolen from outside collectors houses in Sutton and Purley.........."

 

Well I thought this was all dying down as I'd not heard anything like this for a while - and then on Tuesday at the Surrey Cortina pub meet, I heard about a 2dr MkI Cortina that went missing from the Chessingon area a couple of weeks back
