A doris customer called the Canon help desk with a problem with her printer.

Tech support: Are you running it under windows?

I used to work in IT and it's all too true. One doris in sales wanted to play her music CD and slid it in the gap between the two blanking plates where the CD-Rom drives would normally go...!

Someone I know went round to someones house to install some new software for this doris. After showing her what to do, he said 'If you need any help, just press the F1 button'. A week or so later he was in the area and popped in to see how she was doing with it. She said 'You took your time. I pressed that button DAYS ago'.
