Im really going to miss it. Took it for a drive today and i wanted to keep it.

Drive to TRAX tommorow and drive home in the new car so tommorow is the last drive.

Oh well.

Hopefully once ive sorted some money i owe and made some space i can get myself another mk2 cortina toy with a pinto eh.

Im sure some of you wont agree with it, but im made up.

Its a S1 RS Turbo. Good spec mind. 180bhp as a conservative estimate but could be circa 200bhp Im just after something quick and comfier then what i have now. Ill wind it up to 250 powers then ill probably sell it on. I dont keep cars for long. I want a cossie next.

But im not going anywhere, and ill buying something old skool again soon. So when i wrap the cossie round a tree, or even the S1, ill use the engine for a 100e/mk1/2 cortina or mk1 fezza swap and ill buy something 'normal' to run about in.

Oh no, i like it here. And OSF's are in my blood now. Still going to be buying Retro and Classic every month. Its just that i cant afford two insurance policies right now, so until then, performance comes first, and id reached a point with the 100e that anymore power = mega wonga.

It wont be long until im in an OSF again. I want a project, and ive always fancied a V8 mk1 capper.

My S1 was rotten... my S2 which I've just got rid of ended up the same way!

A friend of Michelles looked at it to see whether it'd be worth doing the work on & promptly pushed his thumb through part of the boot floor!:roll:

I got it yesterday. Its bloody immense. I was chasing a turbo supra yesterday and had to back off incase i hit him. Im absolutely made up with it, and think i made a really good choice. I even managed 40mpg on the way home. Its just so right for me with no PAS or any shit like that.

Just needs a dyno run now and a good service :mrgreen:

Once i can afford it i can start looking at project cars :D
