skippy Posted September 30, 2008 Report Posted September 30, 2008 Well I woke up this morning to the sight of my garage door 3/4 of the way open and one of the bulbs from the security light on the floor. Rushed out to the garage fearing the worst. Walked in expecting the pushbikes and tools to be all gone, but no, even the Zephyr was untouched. Took me a few seconds to realise that the only thing taken was the pair of Mk1 RS2000 wings for my lads RS. This would be wings that you wouldn't know were there unless you had prior knowledge. The garage is now being alarmed as we speak. Then I've got to fix the door handle and security lights they broke in the process. Please take this as a warning to all of you that have Escort parts etc in your garage/sheds, make sure its very, very secure.
lotusless Posted September 30, 2008 Report Posted September 30, 2008 sorry to hear that m8, but at least they didnt clear you out!. maybe they were disturbed? sounds like one of your freinds are dodgy though, what part of the country are you in as a heads up for others??
skippy Posted October 1, 2008 Author Report Posted October 1, 2008 I'm in the Midlands, trouble is I just sold my Cossie powered Mk1 and have various people round looking at the car, and quite stupidly on my part had left the wings in the garage as it was the driest place to store them. Obviously thats all they wanted as nothing else was touched. I have my strong suspisions who it was, and they aren't local to me, but can't prove anything.
