Question about using GIMP

Right guys, ive a quickie here, i know it aint photoshop, but it does the same things, i just dont know how to use the half of the features on it....

 

How do i copy a colour from another car and then paste it onto another?

 

its kinda confused me for a while now

one the capri you just did a layer of yellow and change it so you can see the car thru it... try 2 layers? or 3 until you get the right colour..... try different methods of changing it

em, by right clicking and changing colour, its kinda hard with the base colour on the car, sends it all funny

 

what i do is copy the pic, colour the whole thing yellow, paste it over the original and rub out the windows and wheels
