CapperTom Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 Hi, as im planning on fitting a zetec to my capri with 45s, there going too foul the brake servo etc. What are my options? if i take the servo out will it make enough room. I dont want too fit a pedal box with remote reservoirs etc, because i dont think they do these off the shelf for capri anyway? Thanks Tom

Cossie_Power Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 in a base model escort mk1 well my 1100L anyway, the master cylinder is mounted direct to the the bulk head no survo im runnning 2.8 capri brakes on frount and 8inch drums on back and its brakes good, should be fine fitted direct to the bulkhead
cjay2004 Posted November 19, 2008 Report Posted November 19, 2008 could u not use a mk2 escort master , the type that fixes direct to the bulkhead?
SAF_Capri Posted November 19, 2008 Report Posted November 19, 2008 im going to fix mine straight to the bulkhead, using the rod from the pedal and the rod from inside the servo-join them together some how, ensuring the lenght of travel is enough and away we go. Ive got 4-pot wilwoods upfront and 9" drums on the rear, so im hopeful it will stop just fine without the the servo, even if i do have to push a bit harder.
