I'll have to check them out I've jusr recently got off my arse & started listening to new bands... thanks to Last.fm (I've been listening to the same old poison the well, every time I die etc for a while now!) Really like these: Heavy Heavy Low Low Ghengis Tron Norma Jean Arsonists get all the girls ... I could do this all day
Von Loxlee Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 i know same here, my first love is dodgy 80s metal and hardcore punk but ive really been getting into some heavier stuff recently. the new norma jean stuff is a massive shock! i havent listened to them for years then i check them out now and there doing songs with chino moreno! ETID and Dillinger have the two best albums released in a long King time
Stu_B Posted November 28, 2008 Author Report Posted November 28, 2008 Norma Jean....I love their old stuff... but there's something soo catchy about this new album!! Have you heard the Chariot? I need to check out Dillinger a bit more. My housemate love's 'em!
Von Loxlee Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 yeh the new norma jeans pretty good actually! are they still a christian band or was it just the singer that left that was mainly christian? not heard chariot might have to check them out what r they like? as for dillinger check this out from the new album and the most 'commercial' song but its one of my fave songs ever! love how so far its only been me and u replying to this thread should be renamed the loxlee and stooby hardcore thread!
Von Loxlee Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 hardcore music! shit that sounded bad
surfingturnip Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 some of the heavy stuff is a bit hit and miss for me, like the sound of norma jean though
Stu_B Posted November 29, 2008 Author Report Posted November 29, 2008 The old singer from norma jean is now the singer from the chariot... check 'em out
