E-bay bargain!!

couple of weeks ago i finally decided what engine i was going to use in my Anglia. Pinto was the winner. So started looking for a suitable `base` engine when i cam across 1 on the `bay.

 

2 litre pinto 205 block. head off for inspection. no manifolds or clutch. got new dizzy, cap and leads. modded sump. new oil pump and water pump.

 

had a bid on it and won it! fetched it last night and it turns out its got +1.5mm pistons(2060cc) big valve head and a H R 270 fast road cam. and it cost me all of £10!!! and was less than a 40 mile round round trip to collect it!! Happy Days!!

i can remeber buying a car on their for £17.50 all taxed and tested the guy had put it in wroung section
