badchild Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 Changed the bikes front pads today and had to split the caliper cause the piston wouldnt go back across which meant all the fluid drained out. Got it filled up again and loosened a small nipple on the caliper and pumped a little but still no firmness on the lever? could anyone help? They are dick by the way if it makes any difference. Thanks Ryan
over_head_cam Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 Same way as car brakes I'd guess Squeeze the lever gently and then with the lever still pressed open the bleed nipple slowly. Then do the nipple back up and release the lever. Do this a few times until no air comes out and the lever has the proper 'feel'
