Mark2Mark Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 well as soon as ive got an good order ill ring them would be good to get them soon as tho. Damn! well i better have a set anyway, i'll give them to the G/F for xmas 1. posse = 7x 13 175/50 2. m-bird = 7x13 175/50 3. bobmk1 =7x13 175/50 4. fieldstvl = 7x13 175/50 5. mark2mark = 7x13 175/50 (0 offset)
retro_car_man Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 will 7 x 13 with 175 50 tyers sit ok on a mk2 or mk1?
Mark2Mark Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 Will be fine on a mk2 mate i think you may need a similar offset to what i want (0-) for a mk1 not 100% tho
retro_car_man Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 would your offset work on a mk2? just i want them for the mk2 but i will take them off when i sell it and put them on the mk1
Mark2Mark Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 I would think so as that offset will just bring the wheel closer to the inner arch yhus clearing the mk1 outer arches, so when you fit them on a mk2 there will be the same clearance on the inner and a little more on the outer (i think )
Mark2Mark Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 Although i have heard people say they run 8j's on a standard mk1 so i could just be talking
Haynesmanual Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 How much are we talking? as money is a bit tight over chrismas!
retro_car_man Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 well as im saveing for an angle box i think i will go the same as you and if they dont fit i can allways sell them on
retro_car_man Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 1. posse = 7x 13 175/50 2. m-bird = 7x13 175/50 3. bobmk1 =7x13 175/50 4. fieldstvl = 7x13 175/50 5. mark2mark = 7x13 175/50 (0 offset) 6. retro_car_man = 7x13 175/50 (0 offset) subject to price
