i have recently purchesed a track/drift toy and infortunatley the diff is welded,how mutch of a problem is this gonna cause on a track sutch as brands hatch or is it a big no no?? any help with this would be great :thumbsup:

Well,

Not really a good idea on track days as obviously both rear wheels will want to turn at the same rate so plenty of noise in the corners and it'll try and push you on straight resulting in understeer. Unless you have enough power to hang it out all the way round the bends but they tend to frown on that particular driving style.

 

It'll most likely be welded on the planet gears so swapping out the diff wont be much of a problem and use a standard one. Your crown wheel will be ok so its just the diff itself you want which should be cheap enough.
