PeteB Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 With all the recent garage break ins etc it has made me a bit more concious about my MK1, it is going to be completely rebuilt from a bare shell but even at that stage it may be tempting to some toe rag so what do you guys do about insuring your restoration projects?

Just ring and ask I’m with HIC can’t fault them Better to insure it than loose it even if your dad has to do it for you I insured mine way before it was on the road after 9 years building the car and 1000's of pounds of bits on the car can you afford not to And wile your at it get one of these http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav/nav.j ... id=9284742 Best £60 you will spend and well worth it if it scares the toe rags off
