how do you find out build dates?

just flickin through the cars birthday thread and was wonderin if there is any way to tell the build date rather than just the date of first registration?

A = Escort

T = 2 door

S = 1976

A = March

stuff your hands down the back of the rear seat squab mate, you should find a build sheet taped to the metal part of the rear seat between the steel back and the squab if your interior is original

all ford 70s chassis number have the same struture to them

 

numbers 5 and 6 are the build date and in the burton cat they list all the data
