Going to look at a mk1 2dr escy later, supposedly had hardly any welding, had rotten wings but comes with a pair of mex wings with new front panel etc, not cheap,, but if it's a good solid one worth every penny.

 

Been out of the old fords for last few years with setting up a new business doing 75+ hours a week, so am hoping it's a good one and a deal is done, I play with scrap cars all day, but been itching to get back into playing with another old escort...

WILL be back, deal done, collectiing Monday, look like what it is, an old neglected escort, BUT is one of the most solid escorts I'v ever seen, original sills, original wheel wells, original strut tops, car has never been welded apart from 2 mot patches to hold bottom of wings onto floor where the wing tabs rotted.

 

it comes with an excellent pair of used mex wings, new rally style front panel with slam panel.

Can't wait to get back into an old escort, this is gonna be a long but 'proper job' car.....possibly cossie
