i'm getting loads of spares with this car which is great.

from what i've seen looking around it it needs a new front n/s wing, a patch on both innner wings, a new o/s door, both front floor pan sections, posibly sills on o/s, a new section for the boot lock on the car (have a piece cut out from another one) abit under the battery, aabit under the rear washer bottle, around the sunroof (posibly gonna be the hardest bit!) the roof sorting

oh and getting the engine running!

it's my first proper project car, as all my other cars I've needed to use as daily drivers so they only got jobs that could be done in a weekend!

my plan is to make subtle mods probably lower it an inch i've got a full 90 spec recaro interior so the inside will all match not just the front seats.

the look i'm gonna go for once the essentual work has been done is make you think its standard at first glance but then you start to notice all the little mods.

hi yes there will be plenty of progress pics.

i also have always wanted a mk1 xr2 but never was able to get one.

this car i nearly bought 9 years ago for £100 more but it only needed that new wing at the time!! but as i was a lowly apperentice the insurence would have been a nightmare! its also my favorite colour for these.

the weekend should see the engine and box out posably the interior i'll post pics in the projects section
