Tuomas Posted February 16, 2009 Author Report Posted February 16, 2009 the mk1 cortinas had supports welded on the inner wing-bulkhead that was it as far as im aware I have allso found this text in tommy sandhams Cortina data book (sorry cant put picture) It says Standard fitting in australian cars, but i believe that i have same cross-member to my Cortina: The above illustration shows the "export" cross-member (much sought-after for rally cars) and believed to have been standard fitting in Australian cars, and the G.T. track control arm with the flattened section on the top face
