Help needed on Crashed Car

Hi guys, my girlfriend has just wrote off her 51 plate Clio 1.2 thank god she's okay although now she wants me to try and get as much money for the car as possible.

 

I have advertised the car on a clio forum for breaking or for sale as seen although im wondering if there are salvage sites that buy cars like these? As its a 51 plate, i don't really fancy dumping it in a scrappy for £100. Surely i can get more money than this?

 

Any advice on what to do guys? im stumped on this one really.

Wouldn't the insurance company have paid out on this? in which case they normally take the car away and scrap it themselves

i got my astroid back after i wrote it off and sold it for spares or repair, some breakers companies will give you £400- £500 for it but you could make more by salvaging bits from it that you know will sell (and if you have the room for them) and then scrapping the rest

sounds 2 me like it was a crash that they dont want 2 claim on the insurance 4!

in wich case ebay is probly the best way 2 sell it in bits!
