clarkatroid Posted April 16, 2009 Author Report Posted April 16, 2009 i dont know much mechanically atm, what am i looking for, my ride is too low and the suspension has been bent to the point where im jumping up and down quicker than paris hiltons knickers when going over the slightest bump i was told i need 3 leafs but im not sure are they a standard size and fit?
Trevmk3 Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 for the height issue it will more than likely have lowering blocks which can be bought in different sizes 1", 1 1/2", 2" ect. the bouncing up and down bit could be down to what shockers are on it, if they are performance ones (or just aftermarket) they could be adjustable with the turn of a screw which may help out the way it rides. i must say my mk1 bounced around a fair bit but i liked it on edge im not overly sure on the springs though so maybe a post in the escort room or the main OSF chat room will have a few more eyes and brains helping you out than my sometimes stupid head
