mk2 stu Posted December 15, 2006 Report Posted December 15, 2006 I dont think theres many cars out today that in 30 years time will really ever have a big impact to a future generation, they cant stir up the feelings our classics do for us, its all about early memories of our first rally day or iconic tv show car (sweeny anyone?) Only cars that really stand out will have a cult following, things like the new ford GT, Vauxhall VXR monaro (Great fun, real rwd action), possibly the elise etc. Or perhaps all will be forgottena as machines rule the earth and we are led into slavery harvesting the battery fields!!!
bomber1 Posted December 15, 2006 Report Posted December 15, 2006 theres just nothing out there in modern machinery that i want / could be arsed to drive sad thing is in 30 yrs time if the green w##kers have there way we will all be driving small elecy cars no roundabout fun or any kind of fun fullstop drag racin would be to see if u can make the top of the track before ur battery went flat
martymk1 Posted December 15, 2006 Report Posted December 15, 2006 don't think the cars will last like the osf they don't make them like they used too agree with that
dazmk1 Posted December 16, 2006 Report Posted December 16, 2006 but 16 year olds of today will want the st s as people wanted the rs s and mexicos etc so maybe in 30 years maybe theyll want to remember their early days??
