JAY PS Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 I know we dont do mk4s on here but ................ My misses thinks im barking , i recovered a sad looking Escort Estate last week from Sussex and im intending to use this for work for a while to save the van being ruined ,Might use it for some film/tv work. Bought it with a misfire ,turned out to have new plugs in it and a oil filter etc ,but some numpty had put plugs on round way round Ive spent the last few hours giving it a clean ,she came down the yard saying what the hell do you want to clean that for !! I bought her back down the yard and this is what she saw It was a BT Business car back in 90-92 and its only had one other elderly owner the guy who used to drive it for BT !!! There is some minor rusty bits but there are getting rare !!
davreeve Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 Looks ok loads of space with the seats folded down, simple mechanics and they can be very reliable. I had one on an 'E' reg and it was fine .It was and still is the newest car i,ve ever owned.
