Guest cortinamad-gonetoo Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 got my old style burton rocker cover yesterday http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :MERFB:IID fitted it the gasket was a twat to get in place i had to use a bit of gasket sealer to hold it in place , and i drilled the two mounting holes upfront which were missing (but not sure if i should have as ive noticed the newer burton cam covers dont have them either) oh well its done now also i have a 38 dgas carb with a auto choke, but lucky for me i dont use the choke (as ive removed the flaps for the extra 2 bhp ) the rocker cover would not fit with the auto choke mechanism on i will add a pic of my new rocker cover fitted soon
Pipster007 Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 Looks good:thumbsup: By drilling out the extra holes you've gained an extra 1 bhp in weight saving
