MightySprocket Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 actually went to see a man with a 3 door cosworth to see about a swap with mine didn't do it though, met two nice blokes though with escorts as well, one a cossie powered rs2k anways, went for a drive around buxton in the peak district... i lived up there when i was 18 but didn't realise how good the roads were, twisty open and fast with a clear view for what seemed like miles... damned good fun, wish i took the video camera

MightySprocket Posted May 17, 2009 Author Report Posted May 17, 2009 the roads were quiet as it was 8 this morning, went from macclesfield to whalley bridge (where i used to live) then from buxton back to chapel le frith and from there to hope and castleton, very impressive roads... to be honest better than some of my favourite welsh haunts... 50mph speed limit on them all though... which i stuck to

Matlocks a very nice place if i remember correctly, does it have the pretty park in the centre?

So you may know some of the matlock motor club lot.Do a few road rallys in Derbyshire. Some great rough roads!!
