My engine is sat on the bench in bits still :sad: don't parts suppliers know the meaning of urgent!!!! :roll: so not doing any thing thats fast on the old engine :(

Up the 1/4 mile for the first time next week at C/F show? :mrgreen:

 

me :oops: . first timer on any strip :roll: ill be in 2.0 capri fast road, hi torque cam 38 dgas 120 hp flywheel and 155 lb/ft, std trim and 5 speed transmission and 205/50 15's road tyres on the back, 195s front :roll: whats a respectable time?? :thumbsup: i was thinking 18 seconds target :shock:

my standard engine 2.0S 4 speed done a 17.3, so you should easly get a low 17 second time!

But with 50 profile tyres wont the rolling radius be the same?

 

not quite. The ratios in the type 9 are awful with the 3.54 diff too :sad:

If I get there early enough on the Sat I'll take mine down.

I believe there is a classic ford only session between 5 and 8 pm
