rob-85 Posted May 29, 2009 Report Posted May 29, 2009 Arrgghh Why are there so many muppets on Ebay? My Mk1 Escort finished about an hour ago. Had a 0 feedback bidder withdrawl their bid at the last minute and the winning bidder had only 1 feedback, within minutes of selling i get an email, "sorry mate, ive bought one now, dont want it" Are you having a laugh!!! Not happy to say the least. I will not be selling on there again.

rob-85 Posted May 29, 2009 Author Report Posted May 29, 2009 What makes it worse is, i have to pay the fees too. I aint getting stung on there again.
marky4 Posted May 29, 2009 Report Posted May 29, 2009 fast eddie has had the same problem, why do these f##k wits do it
rob-85 Posted May 29, 2009 Author Report Posted May 29, 2009 Its too easy for them to do it and get away with it, just to ruin the sale for the seller. It needs sorting big time.
MightySprocket Posted May 29, 2009 Report Posted May 29, 2009 fast eddie has had the same problem, why do these f##k wits do it i think they dream about owning cf's the reality is they either not allowed or cant afford it as it happens im glad mine didn't sell as i think its has a problem... despite the guy messing me about being an arse i wouldn't rip someone off, even though the problems only raised its head tonight it obviously would have had happened to him and looked bad on me
rob-85 Posted May 29, 2009 Author Report Posted May 29, 2009 i know, its just the inconvience of it all.
Takeshi Posted May 30, 2009 Report Posted May 30, 2009 I cant speak of experiance of selling much on E-Bay, but perhaps make sure people with little feedback send you a landline number and a address?
stevepeanut Posted May 30, 2009 Report Posted May 30, 2009 ebay is getting worse, I just sold a kawasaki ar50 bike, its shagged, got no wheels, doesnt work, and I got £98 for it Fooking ebay charged me £20 for selling it, I emailed them and told them they were taking the piss, they said any motor vehicle between 99p and £1999.99 gets a £20 fee. My brother sold his broken mondeo for £60 and they charged him £20 too
Rick Posted May 31, 2009 Report Posted May 31, 2009 ebays only good for making money on small sought after items. anything of value dont waste your time youl only get messers/dreamers bidding
Savvi Posted May 31, 2009 Report Posted May 31, 2009 Some of the newer cheap crap cars i've put on there sell no probs , but as others have said the decent nice valuable things just attract dreamers and time wasters. Still on the bright side it seems you have now sold the car and hopefully to someone on here who will look after it
