M16NTE Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 hey guys, ive got a 4 speed out of a mk3 capri ( a type e i think ) and i want to put it in my mk2 escort auto. will it just bolt up or am i gonna have to muck about with mounts... or should i just sell it and fit a type 9.... thanks gary

M16NTE Posted June 14, 2009 Author Report Posted June 14, 2009 being an auto i think it would be rude not to 5 speed it see ing as you have most of the bits to do ps is it a good 4 speed and how much do u want for it true.... i just aint too found of the type 9 box, i do like to keep it retro and stick with the 4-speed. i just want to know weather it will just bolt in either using the auto box mount or the 4-speed mount? i dont want to be making mounts and drilling holes in my floor pans... and ill doubt ill sell the box mate, its a nice spare for something else. cheers gary
