mk1mexico Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 One of my trumpets seems to have a fuel deposit round the bottom of it, as if its been leaking out, it has the occasional smell of fuel when driving, but i kind of think that's normal, not running any filters. Im not sure if its a co-incidence but on overrun my exhaust seems to be popping a little bit more aswell recently. Any ideas?
Fiesta Steve Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 Popping on overrun could be an air leak.
mk1mexico Posted June 25, 2009 Author Report Posted June 25, 2009 I did think that, will have a check around when i get a bit of spare time.
vibrating_Cake Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 fuel leaking out might be due to the floats being too high which also could explain your popping if the floats are too high and lettin too much fuel in =) mine used to smell, thought it was normal, now ive got them properly setup they dont really smell at all
mk1mexico Posted June 25, 2009 Author Report Posted June 25, 2009 They were properly set up last year, and have been faultless up until now,
Dr Dub Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 might just be a bit of sh1t in the slow running jet
