mk1mexico Posted July 3, 2009 Author Report Posted July 3, 2009 You dont want/need a colour change though dude
antz Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 no but I do need a full repsray in the same colour!
Yeomans22 Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 no but I do need a full repsray in the same colour! Me too, all depends on the person you choose to do the work, the more you spend on a really good body shop, the better the overall results will be.
dawesy1700 Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 if your in darlington or somewhere near you should try RA bodyshop, not the most expensive but nit the cheapest, mines in there now gettin a new front end and they've done a bare metal respray on it a few years ago. the good thing is though, the more of the prep work you can yourself the cheaper it'll be, heres what mine looked like and this is it now, gettin welded next week, lol.
james1700 Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 the paint alone for my respray was £275 i should have paid nearly 2 grand if i wasnt doing it all myself! that was 2 new wings and the whole car high build primed and painted it was in the bodyshop for 3 weeks james
dawesy1700 Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 what he said, 2 grand is about right, but its not what you know, its who you know
