duchy boy Posted July 20, 2009 Report Posted July 20, 2009 Our boys are doing us proud in the Tour de France. Mark Cavendish has won 4 stages and Bradley Wiggins after a fantastic ride up the Alps on stage 15 is 3rd overall.
stevepeanut Posted July 21, 2009 Report Posted July 21, 2009 Good results, shame Cavendish comes across as an arrogant arsehole everytime he's interviewed. Same last year, every time theres a mic in his face he goes on like a prat, he can sprint with the best though. I love the tour, watch it every year.
4parajon Posted July 21, 2009 Report Posted July 21, 2009 That Bradley Wiggins would be nowhere without the handlebars we make them
LGreen Posted July 21, 2009 Report Posted July 21, 2009 was meant to be going out to watch the tour this week but had last week off instead. gutted not going. looks like its going to be interesting. where do you work then if you make his handle bars? lg

Same here mate been watching it over 25 years and this year is the best for the brits for a long time. David Millar is having a good tour he almost won a stage and i think he will try again on the flat. Wiggins still 3rd
stevepeanut Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 I still wonder if Armstrong has got something left in reserve, got a feeling he might go like a rocket in one of the later mountain stages. He's a clever man, got a good poker face, you never know what he's really up to.
duchy boy Posted July 24, 2009 Author Report Posted July 24, 2009 Cavendish wins 5th stage. Wiggins still 4th, hopefully he can catch Armsrong
caulkie Posted July 25, 2009 Report Posted July 25, 2009 cavendish is sound, my nephew went to school with him, he hates being interviewed,
duchy boy Posted July 25, 2009 Author Report Posted July 25, 2009 What a ride by wiggins today to sacure 4th place overall. Good luck to cav tomorrow in the final stage. What are they going to give these boys then after chris Hoy was stupidly knighted? Both of these proformances easily outshine his track golds by a mile.
caulkie Posted July 26, 2009 Report Posted July 26, 2009 cav will get a hero's welcome when he comes home to the isle of man
duchy boy Posted July 26, 2009 Author Report Posted July 26, 2009 cav will get a hero's welcome when he comes home to the isle of man Cav was in a class of his own winning the final stage today. Guess he will out sprint TT bikes 2010 Cavendish Green jersey and Wiggins Yellow
