ride a moped on car licence?

anyones know the score? missus passed her car test in 1986 and she wants to ride a moped, will she still have to do her cbt training?

If your full car driving licence was issued before 1 Feb 2001, then you already have a full moped entitlement on that licence (full category P entitlement), so you are not legally required to do the CBT and can ride a moped without restrictions.

2001 they took everything away from you and you require a different test for everything

you can also drive with no L plates and a pillion

My youngest son is 17 years old and wants to get a moped,what tests etc would he need to take before he can ride it or can he just have L plates on.

woah bet your still sore lol, i did mine twice as it only lasts 2 years. its a piece of piss basically if you dont fall off you pass

i did my test the next day,

your right you can't go wrong on a cbt but i think it shoud be harder so all the 16 years old cant keep wakeing me up at 2am
