hi fellas, i just set up my account so thought i'd say hello in here. i currently dont own a car but am looking to buy a mk1 escort. i had one about 5 years ago and i also had a 2dr mk3 tina. this place looks like the site to be on so here i am!!!

trev, nice mk3. my mk3 i used to own was a red 2dr GT. it used to have hydrualics in it. i sold it about 5 years ago but saw it for sale on piston heads a few weeks ago with white rims on it. do you know about? is the owner on here?

it'd be nice to give the owner an extra bit of history on it.

i seem to remember someone on here having one, sounds like that one as i seem to remember the hydraulics and white rims, can think for the life of me who it was though.

i bought the car when i was about 20 for £750. i sorted out a few bits and had it resprayed and got the hydraulics put it, looking back i should've never had them fitted but i was young, you know how it is.

 

it was the ultimate head turner, wish i'd never sold it now.
