Trax 2009 Track vid- onboard Zetec Capri :)

Trax2009 is the 2nd show i just cant miss in the year, its always booked off and is always a good day, today was no exception!

 

started the day off at half 5, setting off after tanking the car with fuel, then down the 2hr 45mins to silverstone *yawn*

 

after getting there and q-ing... a lot lol, had a look around at the show, some smashing cars!!! unfortunatley no pics!

a few shows on like bikes going round metal spheres, ken block doing a jump doughnuts etc.

but my two fave... 0-60 sprint, with a mk 3 escort running a 2.91 second to 60mph!!! in full 1.3 popular trim and steelies, with 4x4 cosworth running gear underneath.... brilliant!!!

 

a few drag cars doing the 0-60 and endless people too, with drifting going on in the background very nice!

 

but... the highlite of my day, silverstone race circuit. i love the track, cant get enough of it, unfortunatley they copped me with a camera in my window on the 2nd session so i only have a vid of the first "warming up" session, so excuse the lines.

 

only got overtaken by about 10 cars though... out of 40, which aint half bad, keeping evo's and skylines behind for 20minutes!!!

 

and... i like to be "unique" in every track day i do, so i remember the memories better, this one was no exception... starsky and hutch style!!!
