Yep. My dad was sat having his afternoon coffee, when this chap turned up and started chatting with him. They spent a good half-hour nattering about all sort of things, and my dad said he was a really friendly bloke.

 

Given that my dad was 76 at the time (Yes, and still working ) and jazz was his thing, he wasn't aware of Wet Wet Wet, and came home saying he'd had a lovely chat with a Scottish singer called "Martin Pillow"
