coilover and brakes advice please help

im putting in a 1660 from a fellow member but just need some advice from the helpful bunch on osf

 

where can i buy coilovers and what ones are the ones to buy? also ill need to uprate my brakes ive only got standard brakes at the moment, so just need advice to get me on track

I had my coilovers done at GAZ, with regards to your brakes have you got a servo fitted, if not its not a bad place to start, remote servos can e picked up new for about £90 new and work on a single pipe system

on my capri i had gaz coilovers with 250lb springs with 7 inch wide wheels.

with 4 pot brembo brakes and 300mm discs, and a rear 253mm disc conversion

 

stopped and cornered like something completly different...

cheers for info ive got standard struts on me mk2 escort, been looking on burtons etc and i dna what to get ive never shopped for coilovers and springs so im not really sure what im looking to get
