filicapri Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 Now its the original 2.0v6 thats in the capper I have a 2.8i T thats running ,just need to replace it from the starlet into the capper. Also have a 3.0 essex, maybe modify this one with burton stage 3 heads, other inlet manifold and a holley? Or buy a smallblock v8? What should you do?
LEONMEX Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 ooohhhhhhhhh tell me more about the starlet well built 3.0 essex gets my vote

filicapri Posted November 21, 2009 Author Report Posted November 21, 2009 ooohhhhhhhhh tell me more about the starlet well built 3.0 essex gets my vote I think I go for the 3.0 essex the starlet was build by Andre Veldkamp it has: double injectors new heads max turbo pressure 2.2 bar 3 fuel pomps max rpm 7500 and a lot more Andre told me the starlet has got 440 at the wheels on a dyno at 2.2 bar. I dont know if its true, but I cant start it without wheelspin at 0.8 bar (min)
LEONMEX Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 madness, but i like that alot do you or did you race it??
JP. Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 found this turnkey enginehttp://www.speurders.nl/overzicht/gebru ... 59065.html Stay away from a 305 Chebby engine. 305's are well known for cracking cylinderwalls. This one is tested but you'll never know when it will break in the future. If you decide to go the Chebby route, go straight for a 350 mainblock. Even better is the Alloy LT1 engine. 3.0 Essex will be my favourite.
filicapri Posted November 22, 2009 Author Report Posted November 22, 2009 madness, but i like that alot do you or did you race it?? madness I've tried to drive it on the road one time, and now i'm a bit scared of it
filicapri Posted November 22, 2009 Author Report Posted November 22, 2009 who knows the difference between the stage 1,2,3 heads from Burton? they all have the same camlift, and are the prices for 2 comlete heads? https://www.burtonpower.com/product_mai ... sTxt=essex
GT_lenny Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 just my opinion but that turbo'd lump would be cool in the cappa- pls dont fit a chevvy lump into a ford just a personal thing but i hate to see it-
filicapri Posted November 29, 2009 Author Report Posted November 29, 2009 have found another new crate engine 3.4 v6 essex
