I took a Burton one out of my orange mexico.

It was fine 10 years ago,but since using a Gartrac one i would never use anything else.

Makes good brakes soo much better.

I have a brand spanking new one in the garage from Rally Design with cylinders and reservoirs. I can bring it to the Princess Royal meet next week.

I bought it for Nessie, but we all know what happened there :mrgreen:

why is the gartrac one so much better?

its £377+vat for a hydraulic clutch version

thats a lot...

The gartrac ones are a lot better because the main shaft is made new,so the spacers for the balance bar fit well, most cheap ones use orignal bar and basic spacers, which leave sideways movement, resulting in the balance bar hitting the casing.

Gartrac ones allow a bit of movement on the pedal as well.

Most cheap ones i have used are like preesing a brick down ,which just flexs the pedal box.

Also the cylinders are at a lot better angle. Makes fitting easy.

Hope this helps!!
