zetecmk2 Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 hi peeps, kooltina's needing love! just a 2.0 zetec needed....but, all the time she's on the road, my escort gets neglected!! it's been a good relationship, but i need to get something finished, and kooltina needs constant love!! she was a 1300 auto 4 door, now a 2.0 16v 5 speed on banded steels with a seized engine 2 hrs to fix.....but my escort needs love! i want them both. but it's time and money. how much is a mk2 cortina 2 door shell with mot n tax worth?

zetecmk2 Posted January 2, 2010 Author Report Posted January 2, 2010 i can have her on the road tomorrow night, but i've had my fun. the next step was to turn her into a nascar influenced thing. i've got the wide arches and fibreglass wings etc, but i should do this while the engine's out. before you know it....i'm in it up to my neck building a car out of something i only bought to smoke around in while my escort was off the road!! snowballing projects, huh????

Chassis mount time. chassis mount sounds good then i can modify the capri crossmember to go round the sump, retaining the thermostat housing and prop!! how can i turn down the offer of a helping hand? cheers paul!
