well spotted m8

Thnaks. Me and ikletash drove round the car park and took the details, I can't take all the credit! lol

I was going to say I hope it was an innocent transaction or whatever, but in a way I hope it wasn't too!

I think it may have been innocent as the car has recently been sold heres some pics of it (I remembered it from the NNN on the no. plate)

But well done for doing what you did, we should all take an example of this, it takes nothing to jot down a reg number. I know if it was my car I wouldnt have minded someone calling the police and if it was being nicked imagine how pleased the owner would be with you.

I see it was registered in ************* was probably a half way house exchange location, and Tesco was an easy place to find...

Thanks for all your congratulatory messages, I must admit it felt good to perhaps be helping someone, and as it seems that this was probably a genuine sale, I'm sure those involved will not mind either...

Just done a registration search of my car and found this. I just thought I should point out the the transaction was completely innocent. It was me who you saw in the Tesco car park nearly 2 years ago loading my MK2 escort onto the trailer. The car was owned by a mechanic who's premises are opposite to the Tesco mentioned. The car has undergone a full restoration, but has been left completely standard and I still own her today.
