  1. You being sarcastic? Not funny....
  2. Not really funny mate, sorry. I sort of have it in mind (as far as the RAC goes) its like when a burgler breaks in. You better kill him, or he will sue. For them, it would have been better if she had fell off. Then they would just pay out the value. Though there was the dogs....
  3. I know. It was just looking like some thought it was. Or at least not the RAC's. OK, there may be some distinction between fault and liability, ultimately the RAC will pay
  4. This is part of the email I sent to the CEO of the RAC In the process of loading the truck on the van, the bed of the recovery body started to twist, tipping the luton van over to the passenger side, dangerously over the pavement and taking it unbelievably close to falling sideways off the truck onto the pavement. It is a miracle this did not happen. in theprocess of this tipping, petrol began to run out of the van's tank all over the road and pavement. The driver, inexplicably, felt the best thing he could do was call for another of the company's trucks, a police style full lift hiab, which arrived very quickly. Before that, I myself called 999 and asked for the Fire Brigade to attend the scene, telling them the van was in danger of falling off the truck, and that petrol was running out of it all over the road. Two appliances arrived, followed shortly by an accident unit. At approximately 22.30 the fire Brigade closed Kensington High Street. The Firefighters worked on the truck for the following two hours, pulling the body straight with a very slow winch tell me what part of this is my fault. Damage found so far is NS front and rear springs bent ripped crossmember locating lugs snapped off the rear axle, allowing it to travel along the springs crushed spring hanger
  5. have to say thats the least fair thing I have ever heard. If you fell into a diabetic coma, then were robbed, would it be your fault? This was the worst experience I have had with the RAC. It was the low point in the worst example of an exercise in bad communication. In total we were waiting 12 hours before the real problem started. When it really hit the fan, there was petrol pissing out of the van and 3 fire engines were there, and I had to dial 999 myself.
  6. Its like this. The problem was a wheelbearing. I called the RAC. In law my contract is witH the RAC not C&S Motors the contractor. I pay the RAC, I pay C&S nothing. The liability is entirely with the RAC. Its the chain of command. I am really surprised that anybody would think this is 'just one of those things' and it could be in even the smallest way anything to do with me.
  7. http://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/the-moment-van-was-left-leaning-precariously-over-pavement-of-london-high-street-9792660.html lost a wheelbearing, the RAC nearly lost us the van From the standard Here's the after pic, showing the damage to the springs.....

  15. Exactly. out of interest what made it look low budget? That many vehicles on it's own is not usually the mark of a low budget production, specially a period one....
  16. After supplying the vans for the teaser, here is 'Funk to Funky', It's a 70s comedy cop show, Think UK Starsky and Hutch with the humour set somewhere between 'Airplane' original Batman and Naked Gun, so pretty silly really! There will be various tasty OSF, with the 'star car' being a Capri. The facelift granny belongs to JayPS and though not 100% right is bloody lovely!!! Me Mk2 minibus sneaking into shot wasn't intentional!! So would you watch it? www.funk2funky.co.uk Watch the teaser vids here!
