If it really is a Mk3 (86-91) even they are getting rare now, possibly more rare than the Mk2. Hope you at least get some of it back

Old is how old exactly? Classic or some 90s chod? All the same, a better description would help!

Gumtree's a bit of an open secret for Mk1 and Mk2 transits, and other classics! It's worth searching nationwide, most are in the South East anyway.

I posted this too, and would just like to add that, if it is ever to be reinstated, it would be less of a blow to the govts income if it was sooner rather than later. Every year that passes means another set of vehicles become legible.

Indeed, looks like a lot of hype to make us run round like a load of headless chickens after listening to rumours and 'my mate said'. As ever, looks like it's working!

Just to add, I had reason to enquire about this and rang the DVLA's dedicated advice line. I was told not to panic (we have a taxed truck I hadn't added to the new policy) as it takes 2 months to flag up as not insured! So don't panic people.

I get the impression from t'internet that you need some kind of a license from HSO to reproduce tax discs for sale.
