im having proper nightmares with this lot anyone ever used em

they use dhl a lot mate (who i happen to work for) as they don't have their own vans. pop me a pm if it's something i may be able to sort out

give them a wide birth m8 there proper messers ive been waiting over a week for a parcel to be delivered

yeah, any freight forwarder like this can be a pain in the a-hole. the issue is that they don't have their own vans so use other couriers and get bulk rates which is why it's cheaper. only thing is that if you have a problem then you have to speak to interparcel, they have to speak to the carrier who have to investigate it, they then get back to interparcel who get back to you. it's like chinese wispers

 

if they do use dhl on this occasion and there's an issue drop me a pm dude

No issue as yet, waiting for a cheque to clear for the goods so i booked it for Thursday.

 

Think theyre using UPS for mine.

I used to use Interparcel a lot for a couple of years until I did have a problem (that was through DHL), buggers managed to smash a 2.8 Capri steering rack through a double cardboard outer and bubble wrap, smashing the casting and leaking the remaining bit of steering fluid out over a pallet of parcels it was sitting on top of

 

Their version of events was that it "may" have got trapped in package handling equipment on a set of rollers and that it had flooded this pallet of packages in power steering fluid, along with the driver and that the van floor had to be steam cleaned to get rid of it, strange really as I'd drained it as best I could, perhaps the moral is not to handle customers parcels so you dont smash ali castings

i used to work in the claims department for dhl domestic mate, saw some corkers there

 

one of them was a company selling those little mini motorbikes. they had stated on their contract that they were empty of all fluids including oil, brake fluid and petrol. one got damaged and they got inspected and they had been testing them before they went out. all of the things had more than a tank of petrol, imagine if the petrol tank got damaged when they were in a van

 

needless to say their contract was cancelled with dhl and we couldn't move the bikes due to them having petrol in them and they never came to pick up the 40+ bikes that were in storage

Just thought id report back they were a superb service for me as i used them last week.

 

Picked up within the 3 hour time slot and delivered fast, and safe from me.
