  1. Bump, still need bits, nos or good, will take a complete/part complete/rotten/abandoned project etc etc, pm me with what you have, cash waiting.
  2. It's sad that meets are in danger through "enthusiasts" actions, and it's something that's been going on for years, back in the early 90's local police started using an obscure law to ticket young lads who were driving like idiots in a town centre at night, it was one that dated back to the days of the horse and carriage, was called "furious driving", and ended up in a £400 fine and plenty of points on your licence, once a few had been dished out (I managed to get one for driving lick a fluffy bunny, fair play) things calmed down. Maybe it's time people either accept responsibility for their own actions rather than mess things up for everybody (I don't include myself in that, I don't get time to attend meets these days), you only have to take a look on Youtube to see that sooner or later someone is going to get hurt, people pulling out of car parks into traffic doing burnouts is an accident waiting to happen, watch a few of these clips, see the evasive action that traffic, and in some case pedestrians have to take to avoid these idiots, and you can see why people are complaining. As for the landlord at the pub where cars are filmed regularly going sideways towards the pub wall, customers cars and some badly out of control as they head towards the bend in the road, that poor sod must be pulling his hair out, at the end of the day it's his living, if the meets are stopped his income goes out of the window, if you turned up where these people work and started annoying the neighbours something would soon be said, so why not show some common sense, and a bit of courtesy, towards him, and people who live close by, it shouldn't be down to the police to turn up and make sure people leave sensibly, once you get to the stage where you need them there you've admitted the idiots can't be controlled, and that's when things aren't looking rosy, similarly why should a pub landlord have to look at getting speedhumps put in the road, wouldn't it be easier if people didn't drive like Apple Pies, ? No doubt things will carry on as they are until a point is reached where meets are shut down, then the first to moan will be those who do the burnouts for the cameras, but it's hard to claim you're being victimised these days, especially when you have people standing filming your actions and uploading them online, self policing is the answer, maybe take a second to think how your actions reflect on "the scene" and act accordingly, it's called behaving like an adult...
  3. Email sent

  21. I dont mind horses, give em a load of revs and a blast on the hooter and they'll normally jump into a field or gallop off up someones driveway pretty quick Its the dickheads who drive tractors I cant stand, they will sit there at 20mph looking at the queue of traffic behind them all the way back to the farm in their uninsured, not registered for the road untaxed running on red dangerous peices of crap I followed a tractor with twin rear wheels fitted with floatation tyres towing an 8 furrow plough 6 miles back down country lanes, it had no escort and passed at least a dozen places it could get off of the road to let the traffic pass before pulling up half a mile from my house. After I over took it I got home and parked the van a couple of foot from the kerb and went into the house to have a dump, and for the 10 minutes I was sitting there reading the paper the tractor driver was banging on my front door because he couldn't get past, fookin shame...
  22. If they hadn't made all the defence cuts they could of shoved some armed forces on the streets, but then the government wouldnt have the guts to do it, a few strategically placed snipers could get the kiddies trotting off home quite quickly...
