Si I've got a pile of parts sitting in the garage that need some serious degreasing, just managed to blag a new degreasing tank and I need to get some decent degreaser for it, I always used to use some stuff that smelled like parrafin but looking online all the stuff for sale in large volumes (25 litre drums mainly) is water based, anyone use this type and can recommend a decent brand?

Clarke 150t is a good little unit, they go around £250 plus the VAT but Machine Mart do hold VAT free nights if you can wait a bit, then you need a different regulator unless you plan on running it on the disposable bottles which are a waste of time and expensive, their about 20-25 quid and then you will need to either hire a bottle of Argon/Argoshield through BOC or similar or run it on pub gas, not as good but cheaper...

I cant see what difference it makes whether a car is "built or brought", some people have the time, space and skills to build a car, some dont and want to drive an old Ford. I personally wouldn't buy one already built, mainly because having 2 kids, another on the way and a load of other interests I'm on a budget so I get to look at a pile of bits and do a bit when I can, learning new skills along the way and getting help from mates where your not sure (then helping them the other way) is what counts in my book, its more fun overcoming problems and getting things working, but then I would say that because thats what I know If I had the money to get one built I probably wouldn't because I'm too tight anyway

Looks nice with the extra swage lines in the rear quarter and that little sweeping curve in the drivers door, not so sure about the fenderless front end though, and he could of spent a bit more time trying to blend the mods in, it just looks a little rough around the edges

If you can afford a Lambo and the "chroming" then you should be able to run to getting a valeter in to do all the graft... If its a Toyota just use a scouring pad

Why get his car repaired at all if he drove into you, if its his fault let it go through his insurance. A friend of mine had an accident a couple of years ago, admitted it was his fault (fiddling with the radio when the car in front stopped and he didnt) and all was well until he got the other drivers statement through from his insurers, he claimed both he and his girlfriend got whiplash, only thing was there was only him in the car, mate told his insurers and they wouldnt fight it, easier to give a payout on someone who wasnt there than say they werent, then they bump peoples premiums up

With mum and my other Lab we got 13 all in Just a couple more pics if anyones interested, its impossible trying to keep them still as a group ( or on their own come to think of it) long enough to take a pic, so their 8 days old and should have their eyes open within the next few days... It dont matter what it costs at the end of the day, I live in the middle of nowhere so I got to have it, the price of fuel is always higher in rural areas as well just to twist the knife, my wife works in community health and does home visits, add that to the school run and weekly shopping and the fuel bill for her daily is regularly 70 quid a week plus, add in what I use without the Capri and its about 100 quid

Nope, but the last owner did, then when I went to get it he became an expert in Capri restoration and said it only needed a couple of weekends work to get it on the road and finished

I dragged my Capri out of a garage it had been sitting in for 16 years with a full tank of 4 star and it runs great on it, didnt even need to clean the carb out
