Trevmk3 Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 Right then it is getting to that time of year again when the nights are starting to get a little lighter and weather seems to be getting better (or at least it should be apart from the fact it has snowed every 4 days since before christmas near me). it will be held at the Festival inn, Trowell, Notts, from around 7 pm onwards on the 17th of March, this location is chosen due to it having a quite large carpark with room for more if it gets really busy. this will be a retro car meet but hopefully we can get the majority being of the ford variety please feel free to add your opinions, comments, questions ect about the location, dates of meets ect or you can send me a PM This is the 3rd Wednesday of the month and after this one it will be every 2nd Wednesday of each month Thanks once again to Mick for the list of other meets and Lenny for some of his suggestions. Lets try and get the East Midlands scene more noticed in 2010 On a final note can i ask for limited wheelspins, burnouts, and fast driving in the carpark and on the way out, dont want to be upsetting the locals and having to try and find somewhere else. (dont mind so much at the end of the season as theres a few months for them to forget )

Lenny has suggested a run-out in the peaks which i have talked about before so i will be trying to sort something with that at some point too. if you know of any members on here from the East mids that you think may not of seen this, PM me there name and i will send them a message to say there is a meet starting again soon do bare with me things will be done and the meets will be going ahead whatever the weather

Trevmk3 Posted March 2, 2010 Author Report Posted March 2, 2010 wednesdays it is then Bryan need to have you lot there as regulars im going to finalise the dates of the meets and then crack on with trying to organise a run out for end march early april, then i will be trying to look for local shows to try and get more of us to them (thoresby hall have a couple a year which only a couple of OSF went to last year) as i always say, let me hear your thoughts, let me know if there any shows that you know of and ti will try to do something
